Anne Kirkpatrick elevated to the Country Music Roll of Renown
On Friday 22nd January 2010 Anne Kirkpatrick was
announced as the 39th recipient to be elevated to the Roll
of Renown. The announcement was made by Eric Scott at a
special ceremony in Bicentennial Park and the award
presented by the 2009 recipient Slim Newton.



The Country Music Roll of Renown was established by Radio 2TM in 1976 to recognise and salute those artists who have made a lasting and significant contribution to Australian country music.
Inductees are determined by the Australian Country Music Foundation and announced during the January country music festival in Tamworth, Australia's Home of Country Music.
The actual Roll of Renown, special plaques mounted on granite rocks, is located outside the TREC (Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre), having been moved from their original location out front of Radio 2TM, in 2000.
The Roll of Renown forms the basis of exhibits at the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame open year-round in Tamworth, Australia's Country Music Capital.
Following are the names of those people who have so far been elevated to this prestigious honour.The next Roll of Renown inductee will be announced at a special concert in Tamworth – Country Music Capital – on Saturday January 20, 2009.
