With the majority of the Slim Dusty exhibition having to be sent back to Sydney so that it could be catalogued prior to the opening of the Slim Dusty Museum at Kempsey, there has been a reorganisation of some of the displays, and some new items placed on display. There is new Slim Dusty display. Anne Kirkpatrick- as the 2010 Roll of Renown recipient Anne became a featured artist for display this year. On display is an outfit worn by Anne during the making of the Slim Dusty movie. Jewel and Arthur Blanch. A dress worn by Jewel during the 1982 tour with the Webb Brothers and when she won the Best Female Vocal in the 1983 Tamworth Country Music Awards. Smoky Dawson. The saddle that was used on Flash is being rested and is replaced by Smoky's own "Dawson" chair. Smoky created, patented and marketed the "Dawson Chair"- an electrically operated recliner with a hoist feature that allowed older people to be assisted to their feet. The chair is no longer in production.
