When planning to visit the Hall of Fame, the museum
consists of two sections-
1- Displays of memorabilia (as seen in the pictures below). This
consists of displays of material from approximately 40 artists and
included clothing, musical instruments, artifacts, photo albums, written
information. To fully appreciate all that is on display you need to
allow about 30 minutes.
2- Theatrette. In here you can view historical material that has been
placed on DVD's. This includes the 2 episodes of Slim Dusty- This Is
Your Life; The life of Smoky Dawson, the Tex Morton Story, Rick and Thel
Show plus many more. You would need to allow at least 30 minutes to view
any of these DVD's.
Below are images of some of the displays. As the
displays change some of these images are not of current displays. The
large Slim Dusty display has had to be returned to the Slim Dusty
foundation so they can catalogue the items prior to their opening of
their own Slim Dusty museum.
