The material on display in the museum has been either
donated or lent to the museum and new material is continually being
donated to the museum. If you have material that you would like to
donate or lend please contact the museum
During the 2010 January Festival Mary Schneider and
Melinda Schneider donated a quilt belonging to Rita Schneider, which she
had won in a raffle. The quilt
had been made by a group of quilters in Glen Innes and the panels
featured pictures of country music artists. Rita was able to get the
artists to sign their picture, as well as the signatures of other
artists.

March
2010- Graham Bell (ex radio announcer from 2GF Grafton) donated
the following-
500 plus compact discs.
200 plus LP records.
Boxes containing reel to reel radio interviews and 64 DAT (Digital Audio
Tapes) of radio programs plus DAT machine.
16 cassettes "Australian Country" radio programmes.
10 reel to reel recording tapes of radio special programmes.
A large number of copies of "Country Beat" newspapers.
Further material is to come from Graham.
Geoff Orr, an historian of recorded sound from
Victoria, has sent two CD's of country music interest.
1. Kenny Arnott "The Singing Wanderer", 22 tracks restored.
2. "Lady In Blue" claimed to be the world's first country gospel,
recorded in 1980. The book, music and lyrics are by Bob "King" Crawford
(Planet Records in the 50/60's)

16mm film of Smoky Dawson. Hilary Scott found this item on the internet
(in the UK) and purchased it, but when Ron Willerton, the owner, found
out where it was going he refunded the purchase price and only charged
the freight.
