MAIN BROADCASTERS HALL OF FAME

Most recently, and for many years, Alan Clement worked as Manager of 3MFM at Inverloch in Victoria’s Gippsland. He has had a long and illustrious career in broadcasting, and especially country music broadcasting having worked at Radio 2TM in the station’s famous country music hey day, including a strong involvement in staging and production of the very first Australasian Country Music Awards (or Golden Guitar Awards) in 1973.

After Tamworth, Alan worked for many years in Port Pirie, South Australia, where he was involved in developing that city’s major country music festival at the time.
