The museum is now open Monday to Sunday.
10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The Australian Country Music Foundation Inc. (ACMF) was established in 1992 and it is the administrator of the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame.
The ACMF is a totally volunteer run, not for profit organisation, with the function to collect, protect, preserve and promote the history and heritage of Australian Country Music.
The Australian Country Music Hall of Fame museum is located at 561 Peel Street, Tamworth, N.S.W. (the corner of Peel and Murray Streets, next to Hungry Jacks) and includes the Walk A Country Mile display.
As well as the items you would expect to see in a country music museum- stage oufits, instruments, posters, photographs etc, there are some unusual items. A number of the artists had hobbies - which artists do these items relate to?
You will need to visit the Hall of Fame to see how these relate to country music.
